A favourite pastime on this crew was water skiing. Subtly different to normal water skiing in that the skier remains stationery whilst the water moves. That's Dave Auger in the right hand picture.

   
Another abiding memory was the bottle band. This exercise involved bashing a couple of empty beer bottles on the bar in time to certain pieces of music, the favourite being "The Boys of Bluehill and Derry Hornpipe" by the Corries. "Peggy Gordon" used to be sung quite a lot too.
